New York, N.Y. – A 10-kill performance from
Jordan Johnson led the Lehman College men's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21) non-conference victory against the hosts CCNY at Nat Holman Gymnasium on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to a 10-11 overall ledger, while the Bears dropped to a 7-12 mark.
After taking the first set, Lehman dropped the second to CCNY. The Lightning then posted consecutive victories in the third and fourth sets, respectively, to claim the match.
Abdoylaye Kante and
Enea Doci notched seven kills each for Lehman, while
Almir Pepic added six kills, eight digs and three solo blocks.
The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (March 28th) when it travels to Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. for a non-conference tri-match against York College-NY and the hosts Bard College.
