Jamaica, N.Y. – Abdoylaye Kante had eight kills and grabbed eight digs to pace the Lehman College men's volleyball team to its sixth consecutive victory after defeating the hosts York College-NY, in a CUNYAC match, in three sets (25-22, 25-13, 25-20) on Tuesday evening at the YC Gymnasium.  The Lightning improved to an 8-7 overall ledger and 4-1 in conference play, while the Cardinals dropped to a 1-9 mark and 0-3 in CUNYAC action.

After taking the first two sets, Lehman trailed, 18-17, late in the third against York-NY.  Then the Lightning went on a 7 to 3 run to take the set and claim its 11th straight head-to-head win against the Cardinals.

Alain Abreu Esteva registered six kills and 10 digs for Lehman, while Eric Lin dished out 10 assists with three service aces.

The Lightning continues its road swing as it takes on Hunter College, in a CUNYAC match-up, next Tuesday (March 10th) at 6 pm ET.
