Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College baseball fell by a score of 26-4 to visiting Purchase College, in a non-conference game, at South Field on Tuesday. The Lightning go to a 2-16 overall record, while the Panthers improved to a 10-13 mark.
Purchase jumped out to a 17-1 lead after three innings of action and never looked back as it cruised to the victory against Lehman.
The highlight for the Lightning was infielder
Damian Delgadillo as he went two-for-four with two RBI, while catcher
Emil Valenzuela drove in run and designated hitter
Brandon Deynes was also two-for-four from the plate.
Lehman returns to action on Wednesday (April 8th) when it travels to Newburgh, N.Y. to take on Mount St. Mary's College-NY, in a non-conference match, at 3:30 pm ET.
