Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped its season opener to Pratt Institute on Thursday evening, falling 3-1 (25-23, 17-25, 7-25, 22-25) in a non-conference encounter at the Pratt ARC. With the result, the Lightning open their campaign at 0-1, while the Cannoneers improved to 1-2.
Lehman started strong, capturing a tightly contested first set. However, Pratt rebounded to sweep the next two frames and secure a 2-1 advantage. The Lightning fought back in the fourth set, holding a 20-18 lead, but the Cannoneers closed out the match on a decisive 7-2 run to claim the victory.
