Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's cross-country teams showcased their grit on Saturday, competing at the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College at the scenic Montgomery Place.

Amanda Montano delivered the standout performance of the day for the Lightning women. Racing in the 5,000-meter open, Montano crossed the finish line with a strong time of 23:15.3 to secure a 35th-place finish.

On the men's side, Marc Saint-Hilaire led the charge for Lehman. He battled through the 5,000-meter open course to clock in at 20:09.2, earning 87th place in a competitive field.

The Lightning will look to build on this weekend's momentum next Friday, September 11, when they head to Van Cortlandt Park to compete in Iona University's Br. Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions.
