Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team fell 7-0 in a CUNYAC match to visiting Hunter College, at The APEX Courts on Wednesday. The Lightning dropped to an 0-6 overall record and 0-2 in conference play, while the Hawks improved to a 5-0 mark and 1-0 in CUNYAC action.
The highlight for Lehman came in singles action as
Elizabeth Nlemchukwu dropped her #3-encounter against Hunter's Julia Aksamentova, 6-2, 6-3.
Also, in #5-singles, the Lightning's
Mamie Kolley lost 6-1, 6-3, to the Hawks' Sree Kolla, 6-1, 6-3.
Lehman is back in action at The APEX Courts on Saturday, September 26th, when it hosts Pratt Institute, in a CUNYAC match, at noon.
