New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team rallied in the second half to earn a 1-1 draw against host CCNY in a physical CUNYAC match-up on Wednesday evening at Randall's Island. With the tie, the Lightning move to 1-3-3 overall and 0-0-2 in conference play, while the Beavers shift to 3-4-3 overall and 1-0-1 in the CUNYAC.
Lehman fell behind in the first half when CCNY forward Konstantinos Psomaras opened the scoring in the 27th minute.

Goalkeeper Matthew Stainz anchored the Lehman defense, making five key saves in a highly contested, physical match that featured 11 yellow cards (six for Lehman, five for CCNY) and one red card ejection against the Beavers.
The Lightning return home this Saturday, October 3, to host John Jay College in another CUNYAC clash at South Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 am ET.
