WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SILENCED BY RAMAPO COLLEGE ROADRUNNERS 3-0 AT BRADLEY CENTER

The Lehman College women's volleyball team (6-9 Overall, 3-2 CUNYAC) dropped a non-conference match on Tuesday evening, falling to the Ramapo College Roadrunners (16-4 Overall, 3-1 NJAC) by scores of 19-25, 11-25, and 22-25 at the Bradley Center in Mahwah, NJ.

 

In the victory for the Roadrunners, Ramapo was led by Kayla Anders who had 11 kills on 19 attempts while hitting .579 for the evening. Kaitlin Smith added nine kills and Allison DiAngelo had five kills and two services aces. Tiffany Fischer had a match-high 34 assists to go along with eight digs.

 

Ramapo pounded out 43 kills in the match hitting .283 while the Lightning tallied 20 kills in the match. The Roadrunners also posted seven service aces.

 

Despite the loss for the Lightning, Lakeisha Gordon and sophomore Jennifer Winkler posted six kills each while Winkler tallied seven digs. Sophomore setter Lisa Jagdeo posted 15 assists.

 

The Lightning will return to action Thursday evening as Lehman will battle the SUNY Old Westbury Panthers in a non-conference match, with start time scheduled for 7:00pm.
