In a hard-fought match, the Lehman College tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to visiting Staten Island on Monday afternoon. CSI improves to 2-3, including 2-0 in the CUNY Athletic Conference, while Lehman is now 2-3 overall, and 0-2 in the CUNYAC.

For Lehman, senior Ravnit Bhatia (West Nyack, N.Y./Clarkstown South) had a very long day. At first doubles, she teamed with sophomore Nellya Blinova (New York, N.Y./Moscow, Russia) and played a close match before falling 8-6. In singles action, she played as darkness crept across the court, falling 6-3, 6-4.

The Lightning now have a few days off before hosting City College on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
