BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team rallied, but dropped a 7-2 decision to CUNY Athletic Conference powerhouse Hunter College on Wednesday afternoon. The match was played on the APEX tennis courts in the Bronx.
Hunter (2-5, 2-2 CUNYAC) swept all three doubles matches then held off a pesky Lehman (3-7, 1-2 CUNYAC) squad.
Winning for Lehman were sophomore
Neralda Zuniga (New York, N.Y./Dual Language & Asian Studies) at fifth singles and junior Jhanelle Mulings (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) at sixth.
Up next, Lehman continues conference play on Friday, September 4, at CCNY.
