QUEENS, N.Y. – The CUNY Athletic Conference has officially announced the seeding and pairings for the upcoming 2013 CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championships, and Lehman College will be the #3 seed, hosting #6 York College in the Quarterfinal Round. The game will take place on Tuesday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m., in the Lehman College APEX.

Here are the four Quarterfinal Round matchups:
#1 Baruch vs. #8 Medgar Evers
#2 Hunter vs. #7 John Jay
#3 Lehman vs. #6 York
#4 Brooklyn vs.  #5 CCNY

The CUNYAC Semifinals and Championship match are scheduled for Friday, November 8^th, at Hunter College.
 
The Semifinals and Championship matches will be as follows. At 4:00 p.m. on November 8, the winners of the #2/#7 and #3/#6 matchups will play, and at 6:00 p.m., the winners of #1/#8 and #4/#5 will play. Those winners will then square off at 8:00 p.m., to determine the conference champion.
 
Earlier this season, Lehman swept York, 3-0, on October 14, with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-18. In that match, which was played at Hunter College, Lehman had long runs that propelled the Lightning to victory. Junior Jo-Marie Aquino (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) had 13 kills, while classmate Cari English (Yonkers, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) had six kills.
