BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a hard fought 7-2 decision to the Pratt Institute on Saturday morning, in a match played on the APEX tennis courts in the Bronx. Lehman is 0-4 on the year, while Pratt is now 1-0.
Lehman's two wins were historic, as they were the first wins at Lehman for junior Jhanelle Mullings (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) and freshman Kantomalala Rasedoara (Antananarivo, Madagascar/Newcomers).
Rasedoara won at fourth singles, 6-3, 6-1, with Mullings at sixth singles, 6-4, 6-4.
Lehman takes to the courts again Tuesday, September 17, at Kean University, in Union, N.J.
