BRONX, N.Y. – It is game day as the Lehman College women's volleyball team will host John Jay, in the APEX Main Gym, for a CUNY Athletic Conference matchup at 7:00 p.m. This contest concludes the Lightning's four-match conference homestand.

Lehman has now won three of its last four matches.

So far this season, senior middle blocker Cari English (Yonkers, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) leads the Lightning with an average of 2.49 kills per set while sophomore middle blocker Salveira Gonzalez (Bronx, N.Y./Riverdale-Kingsbridge Academy) has recorded an average of 1.98. Senior opposite hitter Maria Richiez-Paredes (Bronx, N.Y./Notre Dame School) has an average of 1.08 kills per set and senior outside hitter Julia Mercado (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) is right behind her with an average of 1.07.
