Box Score 2 BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team settled for a split in the CUNYAC Multi-Match, held at Brooklyn College, on Monday morning. Lehman defeated York, 3-1, before falling to Hunter in straight sets.
In the match against York, set scores were 25-16, 22-25, 25-22, and 25-20. The Lightning were led by senior outside hitter
Jo-Marie Aquino (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman), who produced a triple-double with 15 kills, 21 digs, and 10 service aces. Sophomore outside hitter
Lindsay Pantaleon (New York, N.Y./George Washington) produced eight kills and 16 digs. Senior setter
Imani Dubois (West Palm Beach, Fla./J.P. Taravella) produced 21 assists with nine digs.

Lizette Medina (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) helped anchor the defense with 17 digs, while junior opposite hitter
Salveira Gonzalez (Bronx, N.Y./Riverdale-Kingsbridge Academy) added 12 digs of her own. Sophomore outside hitter
Monique Young (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman) slammed home six kills.
In the match against Hunter (12-10, 5-1 CUNYAC), set scores were 25-15, 26-24, and 25-12. The Lightning (9-12, 5-2 CUNYAC) pushed the Hawks to the limit by having a lead late in each of the first two sets, but Hunter would rally to win each one, then pull away in the third to complete the sweep. Aquino added 11 more kills, while Medina led the defense with 12 digs. Aquino and Gonzalez each added 10 digs of their own.
The Lightning will be back in action on Wednesday, for a non-conference road match with the College of New Rochelle, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
