Full ResultsBRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College swimming and diving programs swept SUNY Old Westbury, on Tuesday evening, in the APEX Swimming pool. The women's team won 104-96, while the men were victorious 104-75, to stay perfect at 3-0.
The women were led by sophomore
Angela Mejia, who won the 100-free (1:02.11), by over 20 seconds. She also won the 200-free (2:19).
Senior
Susana Perez won the 50-free (31.38), while classmate
Melody Ovalles earned first place the 200 IM (2:38.39) by 28 seconds. Senior
Christy Maldonado was victorious in both long distance events.

Mosebopetan Oladele combined to win the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:21.48.
On the men's side, senior
Anthony Preda was a double winner, earning first place in the 100-fly (54.70) by 22 seconds, and was the fastest swimmer in the 1,000-free (11:50.76). Classmate
Jeremy Guerra won the 100-free (52.52) and 50-free (23.42).
Junior
Carlos Alonso earned gold in the 200-free in 2:04.74, while sophomore
Joshua Teves was victorious the one meter diving event with 199.05 points.
The Lightning will return to the APEX Pool on Wednesday, for a non-conference dual meet against SUNY Maritime, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
