Cagers Set to Battle York….Women’s Swimming to Host Hunter

The Lehman Basketball teams will host York College in a key early season CUNYAC match-up. The men's game will tip-off at 5:00 PM followed by the women's game at 7:00 PM. The Women's Swimming and Diving team will also be in action tonight.

The Lightning are riding a four game winning streak including a 2-0 mark in the conference. In their last outing Olando Minott paced the team with 22 points to lead the Lightning past Medgar Evers 90-76.

The women's team has won three straight including a 62-48 win over Medgar Evers last Friday night. Jennifer Navarro was the spark that vaulted the Lightning as the senior netted 24 points while being credited with five rebounds, six steals and two assists.

The Lehman College women's swim team will take on CUNYAC rival Hunter College tonight at 6:00 PM in the APEX Pool. This is the opening CUNYAC event for the Lightning who come into tonight's contest sporting a 3-1 overall record. In their most recent outing, Lehman defeated Maritime 111-95. In that meet, Angela Mejia won three events, Jessica Reynoso and Melody Ovalles brought home a pair of victories as well.
