BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team earned a key CUNY Athletic Conference victory over John Jay, 6-3, on the APEX Tennis Courts on Friday afternoon. The Lightning improve to 1-1 in conference play and overall record.

Sacha Espirtu (Bronx, N.Y./Abraham Lincoln) earned a victory at #1 singles. She won the first set 6-1, dropped the second 6-4, and came back to win the rubber set, 6-2.
