Miller and Minott Lead Lightning to Victory

Bronx, NY - Chaun Miller scored 21 points and Olando Minott added 20 to lead Lehman (12-4:7-1) a 78-61 victory over Hunter (1-16:1-7). The Lightning have now won three of their last four.

Edwin Pascual starting for only the second time this season, scored 12 points while team mates Andrew Utate added 11.

The Lightning forced 21 turnovers to power their offense. Utate drained a three-pointer to give the Lightning a 13-10 lead; a lead they would not surrender. The bucket started an 11-2 run and the Lightning never looked back. The Lightning were able to stretch the lead to 14 late in the half before settling on a 44-33 lead at the half.
Five minutes into the second half the Hawks were able to trim the lead to eight (51-43) but were not able to get any closer.

Amer Lucak paced Hunter with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lightning return to action on Wednesday night hosting John Jay.
