Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team will wrap up their 2016 campaign Tuesday night when they host CUNYAC foe Medgar Evers College at the APEX Center.
Before the game, we will host Senior Night for the lone senior on the squad,
Salveira Gonzalez. Gonzalez is the team's leader in kills this season with 181, along with 183 digs (first) and 43 service aces (second) in her final season with the team.
The Lightning (5-17) are looking to put together back-to-back victories as the season comes to a close. They are fresh off a thrilling five-set victory over the College of Old Westbury last Tuesday night on the road.
In the victory,
Caitlin Vernon collected a game-high 15 kills out of the 48 team kills and five blocks.
Lindsay Pantaleon collected 14 kills to go along with a season-high 13 service aces in the match, while Gonzalez totaled 14 kills of her own.
They will be taking on a Lady Cougars team searching for their first win of the season. The team is coming off losses in a tri-match against New Jersey City and Staten Island Saturday afternoon at CSI.
