Bronx, NY – The Rutgers-Newark women's volleyball team will cross the river tonight to face the Lightning at 7:00 PM in the APEX.
The Lightning have fallen on hard times as they stand at 4-12, having dropped their last nine. In their most recent outing the Lightning fell in five sets to St. Joseph's College – Brooklyn.
Salveira Gonzalez leads the Lightning attack with 121 kills. Setter Samantha Dlegado has been credited with 242 assists.
The Scarlet Knights come in with a mark of 10-7, winners of their last three including victories over CUNYAC foes Baruch and Staten Island.
