Purchase, NY – The Lehman College women's volleyball team got back to .500 with a straight victory over the Panthers of Purchase.  Purchase is still looking for their first victory and now stands at 0-6.  Lehman (3-3) won by set scores of 25-17, 25-16 and 25-19.

Salveira Gonzalez led the Lightning with eight kills.  Lindsay Pantaleon had 10 digs while Samantha Delgado was credited with 20 assists. 

Lehman jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first set and never looked back.  In the second set, Lehman was clinging to a 6-5 lead and rallied to score 11 of the next 12 points to take control of the set.  In the third set the Panthers were able to stay close early on.  With the set tied at 13, the Lightning rallied off five straight points to secure the three set victory. 

The Lightning return home on Thursday evening to face CUNYAC foe York.  First serve is 7:00 PM.
