New Rochelle, NY – The Lehman women's tennis team shut out the College of New Rochelle 9-0 at the Beckwith Pointe Club to improve to 3-1.  It was the second consecutive match that the Lightning swept their opponent.  CNR is 0-2 on the young season.

In doubles action Sacha Espirtu and Lizaveta Markouskaya defeated their opponent 8-1.  Meanwhile the second and third doubles team of Lynessa George/Kanto Rasedoara and Mami Aoki and Patricia Cadet won by identical scores of 8-0. 

The singles events were just as lopsided as Espiritu, George, Markouskaya, Aoki and Cadet did not surrender a game.  At sixth singles Leslie Juanacio was a 10-1 victor.

The Lightning are back in action tomorrow afternoon at Kean (NJ).
