Box Score Brooklyn, NY – The Lightning recorded their first victory of the season earlier today as they defeated Medgar Evers in three straight sets in earning the conference victory.  Lehman improves to 1-1:1-0 on the season.  The Lightning defeated the Cougars by set scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-12.  It was Medgar Evers season opener. 

Salveira Gonzalez paced the Lightning with four kills on 10 attacks.  Lindsay Pantaleon added three kills.  Samantha Delgado led the squad with 14 assists.  Gonzalez and Pantaleon also led the team in digs with seven and six respectively.   

The Lightning will step out of conference play for a mid-week tilt on Thursday against Maritime College.  First serve is 7:00 PM in the APEX.
