New York, NY - Despite 18 points and nine rebounds by Damian Bellamy, the Lightning came out of the short end of a 99-79 decision against CCNY (9-6:7-2). 

John Brens, Mylo Mitchell, Luis Hernandez and Jean Marcial all tallied double figures.  Lehman now stands at 8-8 overall and 5-4 in the CUNYAC. 

Five and half minutes into the game CCNY built up a double digit lead and never looked back.  Lehman trailed 43-28 at halftime.  A 9-0 run by the Beavers to start the second half extended their advantage.  Lehman was able to cut the lead to 12, 84-72 with 4:41 to play after a Bellamy lay-up.  However, the Lightning were not able to get any closer. 

Robbie Dionisio paced CCNY with 21 points.  The Beavers own the boards as they out-rebounded Lehman 48-29.

Lehman will be back in action on Friday night at home as the Lightning will host the Bulldogs of Brooklyn at 5:00 pm in the APEX.
