Bronx, NY - The Lehman basketball squads will take on the Hunter Hawks tonight in a CUNYAC basketball double header. The women's game tips-off at 5:00 PM with the men's game to follow.
The Lightning women have now won three straight, their longest winning streak of the year. Lehman stands at 6-7 overall and 4-2 in the CUNYAC.
Amely Del Rosario leads the Lightning in scoring with a 25.5 points per game average. Team mates
Krystal Pearson is averaging a double double; netting almost 16 points per night while grabbing over 12 rebounds per game.
Lynda Fields is also averaging double figures.
The Hunter women stand at 8-5 overall and 4-1 in conference play. In their most recent outing, the Hawks rolled over York 70-32. Jade Aponte led the way with 28 points. Aponte is averaging 13.6 points per game. Theresa Leung is chipping in 10.3 per contest.
