The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Bard falling to 1-5 on the season.

The Lightning started the season with a victory over Sarah Lawrence and have dropped five straight.  Bard improves to 2-2.
In doubles competition, the Raptors won two out of three matches.  At number one Sacha Espiritu and Lizaveta Markouskaya teamed up to defeat their opponent 8-1.  At third doubles, Yohara Molineros and Leslie Juanacio paired together and prevailed 8-6.  After the doubles competition the Bard held a 2-1 advantage.  

In singles competition Lehman was only able to come away with two victories.  Markouskaya won in the second spot in three sets.  Molineros downed her opponent in the fifth spot winning 7-5, 6-1. 

The Lightning return to action on Monday as they open league play as the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College come to the APEX Courts.  First serve is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
