The Lehman College women's tennis team fell to FDU-Florham 9-0.  With the loss the Lightning fall to 2-6.  It was FDU's first match of the Fall.

The Lightning first doubles team of Lizaveta Markouskaya and Celine Figueroa gave their opponents all they could handle before falling 8-4.  Jihane Bahbaz and Yohara Molineros teamed up at second doubles but fell 8-2. While at third doubles Joanna Rosario and Leslie Juanacio lost at love.

In singles Figueroa was able to pick up two games at second singles but still came out on the wrong end of the decision as did Monineros at fourth singles.  Bahbaz's match at fifth singles was as close as the Lightning would get.  Bahbaz fell 7-5, 6-1. 

Lehman jumps back into league play on Saturday as they host Baruch in a CUNYAC match.  First serve is scheduled for noon.
