Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman women's volleyball team will travel on Thursday for a non-conference affair at 7 pm against Rutgers-Newark at The Golden Dome. 

The Lightning have a 4-15 record, while the Scarlet Raiders of New Jersey Athletic Conference are 14-8 this season.

Lehman is coming off a 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-16) non-conference loss at U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y. last Thursday.  Meanwhile, Rutgers-Newark dropped a 3-0 encounter (25-19, 25-14, 25-12) against hosts and conference rival Montclair State University on Tuesday.

Last meeting between the Lightning-Scarlet Raiders was held on September 24, 2017 at The APEX Main Gym, with Rutgers-Newark posting a 3-0 win (25-12, 25-11, 25-6).  Samantha Delgado had seven assists and six digs, while Caitlin Vernon added eight digs for Lehman.
