Bronx, N.Y. – Four Lehman College athletic teams will be on the road this Saturday as women's tennis takes on CUNYAC rival Brooklyn College, women's volleyball travels to Baltimore, Md. for a tri-match and both (men's, women's) cross country squads are at Highlander XC Challenge in Newark, N.J.
Saturday's action commence at 11 am with Lightning cross country teams competing for the third consecutive year at the event hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark's Branch Brook Park.
Last year Highlander event,
Joshua Roman finished second amongst DIII men's runners with a time of 27:24.7, while
Rene Clever clocked in a time of 35:12.1 for the women's race.
Also, the women's tennis side (2-5, 1-2 CUNYAC) visits Brooklyn Bulldogs (9-1, 3-0 CUNYAC) in a match-up set for Roosevelt Tennis Courts at 12 pm.
Previous meeting between the conference foes took place on September 25, 2017 with the Lightning posting a 6-3 win at The APEX Tennis Courts.

Yohara Molineros won singles matches against Brooklyn, while
Joanna Rosario/
Leslie Juanacio were also victorious in doubles.
Rounding out Saturday's action are Lighting women's volleyball (4-10) competing in a pair of non-conference encounters against hosts Goucher College (7-11) at noon and then a 2 pm meeting with Eastern Mennonite University (3-14).
