Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team will hosts College of Staten Island in a CUNYAC match-up on Tuesday at The APEX Tennis Courts at 3:30 pm.
Both sides are aiming to get back on the winning track as the Lightning are 2-6 and 1-3 CUNYAC, while the Dolphins have a 1-4 record and 0-4 in conference play.
Lehman is coming off a 5-4 loss at conference rival Brooklyn College last Saturday.
Joanna Rosario (6-2, 6-7, 10-8) and freshman
Diwa Rana (3-6, 7-6, 10-6) needed to go to three sets to earn their victories in singles matches, while
Yohara Molineros won her encounter for Lehman in consecutive sets (6-2, 6-4). Rosario and
Leslie Juanacio also posted a victory in doubles, 8-6, for the Lightning.
Meanwhile, Staten Island also dropped its last encounter, at home, against Brooklyn, 7-2, last Thursday.
The last time the Lightning-Dolphins faced off was on October 12, 2017 at CSI Tennis Center, with Staten Island posting a 5-4 victory.
