Bronx, N.Y. – Three of Lehman College's athletic teams will begin their respective 2018 Fall Season schedules this coming Friday, August 31. The Lightning squads of men's soccer and women's volleyball are on the road, while the women's soccer team opens its campaign at home.
The women's volleyball team heads to Manhattan on Friday to take on Skyline Conference opponent Yeshiva University at Nat Holman Gymnasium with a noon tip off. The Lightning will be looking to rebound from a disappointing 2017 with the return of former coach
Wolfgang Lucena.
Elsewhere, the women's soccer squad hosts Rutgers-Newark of New Jersey Athletic Conference at South Field with a kickoff of 5 pm. Head coach
Casey Melilli, who is in her fifth season at helm, is aiming for another trip to the CUNYAC Finals in 2018. Fans unable to come to campus can follow all of the action on line via live stats and live stream.

Defending CUNYAC men's soccer champion will travel north to Bronxville, N.Y. for a 7 pm encounter against another Skyline member Sarah Lawrence College at Tibbetts Brook Park. Under fifth-year head coach
Toma Gojcevic, the Lightning won back-to-back CUNYAC titles which advanced them to consecutive NCAA tournaments appearances.
