Three Lehman squads will all be on the road on Saturday afternoon. The men's soccer team will travel to Kings Point, NY to battle the USMMA. Women's tennis will head out to Farmingdale and the volleyball team will participate in a tri-match at Western Connecticut.
The soccer team will take on the Merchant Marine Academy at 1 pm at Brooks Stadium on the USMMA campus. The Lightning are coming off a hard fought 2-1 OT defeat at the hands of the Panthers of Purchase College. The Mariners enter the contest with a 3-1 mark. Most recently they topped Centenary 2-1. It's a quick turnaround for the Lightning tennis squad as they 5-4 yesterday to Baruch and now have to travel to Farmingdale. Farmingdale also played yesterday against Western Connecticut. Lehman enters the contest with a record of 0-3 while Farmingdale is 3-1 with victories over William Paterson, Western Connecticut and John Jay. First serve is scheduled for 1 pm.
The volleyball squad will travel to Danbury, CT for a tri-match with Western Connecticut and Plymouth State. West. Conn. Enters play with a 4-5 mark having dropped their last three contests. Plymouth stands at 6-4 but is riding a three game skid. Lehman split a doubleheader on Thursday night downing York in straight sets for their first conference victory of the season.
