Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 New York, N.Y. – The Lehman women's volleyball team dropped a pair of CUNYAC encounters to College of Staten Island and hosts CCNY, respectively, during tri-match event held at Nat Holman Gymnasium on Saturday. 

The Lightning (2-4, 0-2 CUNY) were beaten, 3-0 (25-10, 27-25, 25-17), by Staten Island (3-2, 2-0 CUNY)in the opener.  Junior OH/MB - Caitlin Vernon led Lehman with 10 kills, while junior OH/OPP - Paulette Sepulveda added nine kills and four aces. 

After the Dolphins defeated CCNY (3-3, 1-1 CUNY) in three straight sets, the Lightning fell to the home team Beavers, 3-1 (25-22, 25-17, 12-25, 26-24) to conclude the triangular event.  Junior OH/M – Eriadna Vasquez had 12 kills, six digs and two aces for Lehman, while Vernon eight kills, eight blocks and four digs.  Junior setter - Samantha Delgado also added a season-high 21 assists along with five digs and two aces in the loss for the Lightning.

Lehman returns to The APEX Main Gym next Thursday (Sept. 13^th) to hosts CUNY rival York College and Albertus Magnus College of Great Northeast Athletic Conference at 5 pm and 7 pm, respectively.
