Bronx, N.Y. – Two Lehman College athletic teams will compete this Tuesday as women's tennis side takes on hosts Hunter College in CUNYAC Championship Semifinals at Queens Village's Alley Pond Tennis Center at 6 pm, while women's volleyball squad travels to face CCNY in a conference match-up at 7 pm.
The Lightning tennis (9-6) are coming off a 5-2
victory over visiting Brooklyn College during opening round of CUNYAC Championships on Monday at The APEX Courts. Meanwhile the Hawks (10-1) claimed the top seed in tennis postseason and earned a first round bye.
Hunter has a 10-4 head-to-hear record against Lehman since 2008. The previous meeting between the two sides took place on September 29
th and had the Hawks defeating hosts Lightning, 6-3.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, Lehman volleyballers (3-18; 2-4 CUNYAC) square off against CCNY Beavers (7-6; 3-3 CUNYAC) at Manhattan's Nat Holman Gymnasium. Fans can follow all of the action online via

The Lightning are coming off a three set loss (10-25, 5-25, 16-25) at home to CUNYAC opponent John Jay College at The APEX Main Gym last Thursday. Meanwhile, the Beavers won in three straight sets conference match (25-16, 25-16, 25-13) against hosts Medgar Evers College last week.
CCNY holds an 8-5 head-to-head record against Lehman since 2008, however the Lightning have won four of the last six matches. The previous meeting between the two squads was held on Sept. 8, 2018, at Nat Holman Gymnasium with Beavers winning in three sets (25-22, 25-17, 12-25, 26-24).
