Bronx, N.Y. – For the first time since 2017, the Lehman College women's volleyball team will compete in the opening round of CUNYAC Championships as it will travel to take on Brooklyn College on Tuesday at West Quad Gymnasium with first serve set for 6 pm.
The Lightning, who are also looking for their first postseason win since 2015, concluded the regular campaign with a 4-24 overall record however finished with 2-5 CUNYAC mark to lock in the sixth seed in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs ended the regular season with a 14-13 ledger and 5-2 in conference play to secure the number three seed.
Lehman has a 13-4 head-to-head record against Brooklyn, since 2006, however the Bulldogs have won the last four encounters. The previous meeting between the two sides took place this past September 14th during a CUNYAC Tri-Match, hosted by Hunter College, as Brooklyn defeated Lehman in three straight sets (8-25, 8-25, 11-25). Ariana Pradieu had two kills and six digs for the Lightning, while Christine Tran added 11 digs.
