Bronx, N.Y. – After starting the season with four consecutive victories, the Lehman College women's tennis team has hit a skid dropping is last three matches and will now look to get back on the winning side when it travels to take on John Jay College in a CUNYAC encounter at USTA Center in Flushing, N.Y. on Tuesday at 7 pm.
The Lightning are 4-3 record and 0-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds have a 2-2 mark and 1-1 in conference play.
Lehman is coming off a 8-1 home loss to conference rival Baruch College on Saturday, while John Jay also dropped a conference match, 5-4, at Hunter College.
The Bloodhounds hold a slim 9-8 head-to-head record against the Lightning since 2005, however, Lehman has won five of the last eight matches against John Jay. The previous meeting between the two sides took place on October 12, 2018 at The APEX Tennis Courts, with hosts winning 7-1.
