Bronx, N.Y. – Both Lehman College basketball teams will visit John Jay College in a CUNYAC twin-bill, on Tuesday, at hosts' gymnasium called "The Doghouse," with the women's sides facing off at 6 pm, while the men's squads meet at 8 pm.

The Lightning women (1-17; 1-7 CUNYAC) are coming off a 69-49 conference loss to visiting Medgar Evers College at The APEX Main Gym last Saturday (January 25

Nina Gill added 12 points with eight rebounds and five steals. Also over the weekend, the Bloodhounds (8-10; 5-2 CUNYAC) dropped an 81-56 road encounter to former conference member College of Staten Island (CSI).
The Lightning women have a 22-6 head-to-head record against the Bloodhounds since 2007. However, John Jay has won the last three encounters. The previous match-up between the two sides took place on December 3, 2019, with the Bloodhounds posting an 88-47 victory at The APEX. Forward

Meanwhile, the Bloodhounds won their fifth game (in the last six) by topping hosts CSI, 66-59, over the weekend.
Lehman has a 23-13 head-to-head record against John Jay since 1976, however the Bloodhounds have won the last four match-ups. In the last meeting between the two sides held on Dec. 3, 2019, John Jay posted a 77-68 win at The APEX. Geathers led the Lightning with a 'double-double' scoring 19 points, while grabbing 10 rebounds.
