Bronx, N.Y. – Both Lehman College basketball teams will hosts John Jay College in a CUNYAC twin-bill, on Saturday, at The APEX Main Gym, with the women's sides facing off at noon, while the men's squads meet at 2 pm ET.

The Lightning women (2-6; 1-1 CUNYAC) are coming off a 65-26 conference victory against visiting CCNY this past Monday at The APEX.
Mojisola Shokeye led the Lehman offense with 21 points along with seven steals, while
Brianna Barnes' posted her sixth 'double-double' of the season scoring 20 points with 15 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the John Jay Bloodhounds (6-6; 1-1 CUNYAC) posted a 56-46 home win over conference rival Hunter College on Wednesday.
The Lightning have a 35-15 advantage in the head-to-head record against the Bloodhounds since 1985. However, John Jay has won the last four meetings. In the previous encounter on January 28, 2020, hosts Bloodhounds earned a 75-44 victory.
In the twin-bill nightcap at The APEX, the Lehman men (10-1; 4-0 CUNYAC) will look to extend its eight-game winning streak as it take on John Jay (3-7; 1-0 CUNYAC).
The Lightning are coming off an 81-77 CUNYAC victory against York College-NY on Wednesday at The APEX.
Gian Batista scored 30 points with 17 boards, while

Mo Idrissou notched 10 for Lehman.
Meanwhile, the Bloodhounds topped the visiting Hunter Hawks,113-100, in a CUNYAC match-up on Thursday.
Lehman holds a 48-39 edge in the head-to-head encounters against John Jay going all the back to 1977. However, the Bloodhounds have won five straight over the Lightning. The last match-up between the two sides took place on Jan. 28, 2020, with the hosts John Jay winning 87-79.
