Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – Arianna Calderon (11 kills, 13 digs) and Daria Hernandez (10 kills, 15 digs) each a 'double-double' to lead the Lehman College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-15, 25-6, 21-25, 25-14) CUNYAC victory against visiting York College-NY at The APEX Main Gym on Thursday.  The Lightning go to a 3-12 overall record and 2-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Cardinals drop to a 2-8 mark and 1-3 in conference play.

After Lehman won the first two sets, York-NY claimed the third set to extend the match. However, the Lightning stopped any possible comeback by the Cardinals.

Lehman had a total of 21 service aces with Halley Viera leading the was with five, while Calderon had four.  Ana Mena also dished out 19 assists, six kills and three aces.

The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (October 14^th) when they have a short trip to the Riverdale section of the Bronx as they take on College of Mount Saint Vincent in a non-conference match, with first serve set for 10 am ET.
