Men’s Basketball Drop Home Opener To Albertus Magnus

Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team dropped its home opener at The APEX Main Gym, 107-83, to non-conference opponent Albertus Magnus College, on Saturday afternoon. The Lightning go to an 0-4 overall record, while the Falcons improved to a 4-0 mark.

After Lehman jumped out to an early 6-5 lead, Albertus Magnus outscored the hosts 47 to 31 to take a 15-point lead at the intermission by shooting 50 percent from the field.  The Falcons never trailed afterwards and held on for the victory.

Lightning offense was led by guard Jayden Stephens who had 15 points and five rebounds, while center DeAundre Manuel added 12 points with seven boards.

Lehman is back in action on Tuesday (November 21st) when it travels to take on St. Joseph's University-NY, in a non-conference match-up, with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
