Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – Center DeAundre Manuel had a 'double-double' (24 points, 10 rebounds) for the Lehman College men's basketball team as it got back on the winning track after defeating visiting Brooklyn College, 84-74, in a CUNYAC encounter, on Friday evening, at The APEX Main Gym.  The Lightning go to an 11-8 overall record and 7-2 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs drop to a 4-16 mark and 4-5 in conference play.

With Lehman holding just a 4-2 lead early in the first stanza, the home side then went on a 41 to 37 run to take a six-point advantage at halftime.  The Lightning continued its offense in the second half for the victory that ended their two-game losing streak.

Forward Kai Parris scored 22 points for Lehman on Friday evening, while guard Juan Fernandez added 16 points and teammate Cameron Burns also had a 'double-double' with 10 points and 11 assists.

The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (January 27th) as they welcome Gallaudet University, in a non-conference encounter, at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 5 pm ET.
