Influxer Seeks Lehman Student-Athletes for NIL Opportunities

National Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) provider Influxer seeks Lehman College student-athletes for officially licensed student-athlete apparel.

"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving, and working with [director of athletics and APEX facilities] Ryan McCarthy, it has been amazing to see the vision he has for Lehman College student-athletes," said Influxer vice president Keith Miller. "We see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life."

Said McCarthy, "We are thrilled our Lightning student-athletes have the opportunity to build their brands and gain return on their athletic and academic investment in Lehman through Influxer."

Influxer allows student-athletes to sell personalized merchandise sporting their name and uniform number, with the student receiving up to 60 percent of the gross profit, or up to 22% of the revenue. The opportunity is the first of its kind in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).

Student-Athlete Steps to Obtain NIL:
1) Complete all department compliance material, be in good academic standing, and a currently rostered team member.
2) Review the CUNY NIL Policy (PDF). Complete the CUNY NIL Reporting Form (PDF) outlining specific activity and email the Reporting Form to: OGC@cuny.edu.
3) Await OGC confirmation to student and Athletics of the CUNY NIL Reporting Form.
4) Student may apply to OGC-approved activity (ex: Influxer, etc.) and begin when approved by NIL provider.

Student-athletes who have received OGC approval for Influxer NIL activity may apply to Influxer here.
