Staten Island, N.Y. – Both Lehman College (men's and women's) indoor track and field teams participated on Friday at Wagner College Invitational at Ocean Breeze Park Athletic Complex alongside Division I, II and III squads.

The highlight for the Lightning women was Garyana Altidor as she crossed the finished line in sixth place at the 500 Meter Dash with a time of 2:12.59, while Mariam Konate was seventh in the Shot Put event (6.77m) and Amariah Emanuel-Tyler was eighth in the Long Jump (4.02m).

Also, for the Lehman women, Shivani Raghuthu was 12th in the 800 Meter Dash (3:28.91), while Chloe Colon finished in 13th place in the 200 (29.56) and 400 (1:16.82) Meter Dashes, respectively.

For the Lightning men, Oryan Thomas was eighth in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.99, while Brian Cruz was 13th in the Shot Put with 10.24m.

Lehman returns to action next Friday (January 10th) to the same venue of Ocean Breeze Park Athletic Complex to compete at the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartan Invitational.
