New York, N.Y. – Both Lehman College (men's and women's) indoor track and field teams took part in the Garden State Open held at The Armory in upper Manhattan on Friday.

The highlight for the Lightning women was Cheyenne Gray-Taitt who finished sixth in the 60 meters (8.78) and 12th in the 200 meters (30.41).  Garyana Altidor took 15th spot in the 300 meters with a time of 56.52.

For the Lehman men, Emmanuel Fagbile got the 12th position in the 600 meters race clocking in at 1:46.99.

The Lightning will once again return to The Armory, next weekend, as it competes at CUNYAC Championships.
