Freshman Isabela Araujo has been named CUNYAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending December 7, 2025.  It is the fifth time this season that the Bronx native captured the award.  

In Lehman's only contest of the week, a road victory at John Jay, Araujo scored 17 points while grabbing 7 rebounds.  She was also credited with 2 steals.  

Araujo and her team mates will be back in action on Thursday evening as the Lightning host defending CUNYAC Champion Brooklyn at 5 PM in the APEX.    Fans unable to make the trip to campus can follow all the action on line via live stats and a live stream.
