Amar Ndiaye has been named the CUNYAC Player of the Week, for the week ending January11, 2026.

The senior led the Lightning to a 2-0 week with a pair of conference road victories over Medgar Evers and CCNY.  He averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds in the two games.  Against the Cougars, he shot 10-14 from the field with 13 rebounds for his sixth double double of the season.  He followed that up with 15 points and 9 rebounds verse the Beavers.  He was also credited with 5 blocks in the two games.  It is that second time this season that Ndiaye has been named the CUNYAC Player of the Week. 

The New York City native and his teammates will be back in action on the APEX hardwood on Wednesday and Friday evening.  On the14th Lehman will host undefeated York at 7 PM and on the 16^th Hunter at 5 PM.  Fans unable to make the trip to the Bronx can follow all of the action on line via a free live stream and live stats.
