Men’s Basketball Post Ninth Straight Win After Topping CCNY

Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – Guard Kesean Tracey notched 20 points, including a perfect three-for-three from downtown, to lead the Lehman College men's basketball team to its ninth consecutive victory after topping CCNY, 76-73, in a CUNYAC match, at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday evening.  The Lightning go to a 15-6 overall ledger and remain atop of the CUNYAC Standings with an unblemished 10-0 mark, while the Beavers dropped to a 6-15 record on the season and 5-5 in conference play.

After Lehman took a 45-33 lead at the intermission, CCNY went on a run in the second stanza and cut the hosts advantage to just three points with seconds remaining.  However, the Lightning held on for its 15th win in the last 17 head-to-head meetings against the Beavers.

Forward Ricardo Dixon recorded 13 points for Lehman, while teammate Amar Ndiaye had a 'double-double' (11 points and 15 rebounds).

The CUNYAC playoff bound Lightning will look to secure the top spot in the conference standings when it travels to Queens to take on the hosts York College-NY on Friday (February 6th) at 7 pm ET.
