Queens, N.Y. – The Lehman College outdoor track and field teams turned in solid performances at the Pratt Invitational, hosted by Queens College on Saturday, with multiple top finishes on both the men's and women's sides.
Amariah Emanuel-Tyler, captured gold in the High Jump with a mark of 1.32 meters. The 4x100 relay team of Emmanuella Chukwumeze, Malalia Siafa-Bangura, Danika Brown, and Christalyn Thomas delivered a second place finish with a time of 56.44 seconds. Danika Brown also added a second-place finish in the Long Jump (4.74m), while Malalia Siafa-Bangura placed fourth in the 100-meter dash (13.45). Shivani Raghuthu took fifth in the 800-meter run (3:08.51), and Elainne Rojas Mesa finished sixth in the Shot Put (8.12m).
On the men's side, Marc Saint-Hilaire paced the Lightning with a first-place finish in the 800-meter run, clocking in at 2:04.99. The 4x100 relay team of Rismond Agyemang, Cameron Dennis, Eberto Fernandez, and Brandon Dennis secured a second place with a time of 47.44 seconds. Agyemang also placed fourth in the 100-meter dash (11.60), while Cameron Dennis took sixth in the 400-meter dash (53.67). Jormy Polo added a third-place finish in the Shot Put (9.90m), and Dalton Charles competed in the Long Jump, finishing seventh with a mark of 5.48 meters.
Lehman is scheduled to compete at The College of New Jersey McCorkle Invitational next weekend.
