New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College outdoor track and field teams put together a strong performance at the 2026 CUNYAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island, with both teams earning fourth place finishes in the conference.
The Lehman men earned a total of 118 points on the day, led by an outstanding performance from
Jormy Polo, who secured two gold medals in the Hammer Throw (31.16m) and Shot Put (10.58m).
Charles Howard added to the team's success in the field events, earning a silver medal in the Javelin (35.68m) while also taking bronze in Hammer (29.49m), Discus (28.41m), and Shot Put (9.95m).
On the track, the 4x100 relay team of
Rismond Agyemang,
Cameron Dennis,
Eberto Fernandez, and
Brandon Dennis delivered a second-place finish with a time of 44.04 seconds.
Marc Saint-Hilaire contributed with a second-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:15.25) and third place in the 400-meter dash (52.04).
Oludemilade Lekan Michael also earned silver with a time of 1:03.59 in the 400-meter hurdles, while Linbel Lluveres added a third-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles (19.18).
On the women's side, Lehman scored 53 points to claim fourth place overall, highlighted by
Enalyse Pacheco's with a gold-medal performance in Javelin (26.95m).
Alanis Vasquez followed closely with a second-place finish in the same event (25.57m), while
Abena Abankwa earned silver in Shot Put (9.88m).
The women's 4x400 relay team of
Malalia Siafa-Bangura,
Danika Brown,
Soumea Atakoura, and
Emmanuella Chukwumeze closed out the meet with a third-place finish, crossing the line in 4:48.90.
Lehman closed out their season on a high note looking to improve for next season.
