Queens, N.Y. – Both Lehman College outdoor track and field teams gave strong performances during the Cannoneer Duals, at Queens College, against Saint Elizabeth's University and the hosts Pratt Institute on Saturday. The Lightning men defeated St Elizabeth 130.50 -127.50. Meanwhiile the women's side defeated St. Elizabeth 125-85 and fell to Pratt 113-95.
Lehman men were paced by
Brandon Dennis as he won gold in the 200 Dash (23.69) and in the 4x100 Relay (45.55) along with
Rismond Agyemang,
Eberto Fernandez and
Cameron Dennis.
Oludemilade Lekan Michael finished first in the 800 Run with a time of 2:18.60, while
Marc Saint-Hilaire did the same in the 1500 Run clocking in at 4:30.53.
Mohamed Donzo took silver in the 110 Hurdles (21.98), while
Israel Atewogboye and
Jormy Polo both did the same in the 100 Dash (12.61) and Shot Put (9.95m) respectively.
Amariah Emanuel-Tyler captured the gold in the Long Jump (4.30m) for the Lightning women, while
Malalia Siafa-Bangura Emmanuella Chukwumeze Danika Brown and
Christalyn Thomas were on the 4x100 Relay Winning Team with a time of 56.58 and
Shivani Raghuthu claimed silver in 400 Dash clocking in at 1:19.65.
Lehman is scheduled to compete at The College of New Jersey McCorkle Invitational next weekend.
